The GPD2856A MP3 decoder IC is used on this TF card MP3 decoder board, which also includes a 2-watt L/R mixed mono audio amplifier IC (8002). This module is an improved version of the GPD2846A TF card MP3 decoder board, which now has a TF card slot for a micro-SD memory card as well as an LED power indicator. Only a power source, direct speaker connection and switches are required for the board. An operating voltage of 3.7V to 5V is recommended by the manufacturer.
