It's a 0.22uf/220nf Ceramic capacitor in which the dielectric is made of ceramic material. It is made up of two or more ceramic layers that alternate with a metal layer that serves as the electrodes. Use this capacitor for power decoupling, having a smooth power in your circuit, timing circuits etc. It is always a good idea to put one of these next to the power pins of a microcontroller.
