Description

The purpose of the DW01 battery protection integrated circuit is to shield single-cell lithium-ion/polymer battery-powered devices, including cell phones, from harm or shortening their lifespan due to overcharge, over-discharge, and overcurrent.
The DW01-P is perfectly suited for integration inside the battery pack's constrained space due to its incredibly compact design and little need for external components. Safe and full utilization charging is ensured by the accurate ±50mV overcharging detection voltage. When the cell is in storage, the very low standby current drains from it via the DW01, DW01D, and DW01A SOT23-6 mobile power lithium protection IC chip.
