NE556 Dual Timer IC

Description

In one IC package, the 556 IC contains two distinct and independent timer circuits. It works in astable or monostable mode, and timing or delay can be modified with an external resistor-capacitor combination, just like the 555 timer IC. The NE556 dual monolithic timing circuit is a highly stable controller and capable of producing accurate time delays or oscillations.
